Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he's referred to to the music world is a British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. He is the father of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where, along with three schoolmates, he formed his own band, White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to beat the Battle of Bands 2009. While he's always fascinated by the arts, he hoping to be an attorney or physiotherapist. He was employed at the local bakery for a few hours to support his family financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. This is why his band split. The audition was held on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles join the group that was to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group was backed by Simon Cowell. They were the first to sing Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the top contenders in the competition. They were however in third place just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell were not able to get the win in the contest. But Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
