Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and her were two of the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July 1971. Alison is a country and bluegrass artist. As a teenager, she made her debut in the music world, having won local contests at the age of 10 old and recording her first album when she was 14 years old. She signed to Rounder Records in 1985 and made her debut single album, a solo one in the year 1987. In 1989, she was invited to join Alison Krauss & Union Station who she is a part of.
