Amber Benson is an American actress, director, and producer. Her most recognizable character is Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson, her mother was a psychologist as well as the wife of Diane Benson was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 in 1977. Danielle Benson is her younger artist sister. Benson was born to a father who is Jewish and her mother a Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue.
